The Great Zuurberg Trek Development Camp is a three-day training experience aimed at nurturing young mountain biking talent from local communities and the Exxaro Mountain Bike Academy. Set in the stunning Zuurberg Mountains, riders receive expert guidance from industry leaders like suspension guru Robbie Powell and top racer Marco Joubert, improving their technical skills and gaining valuable life lessons in teamwork, discipline, and confidence.

Supported by the Sunday’s River Citrus Co Foundation, the camp provides life-changing opportunities, especially for those from disadvantaged backgrounds. Many participants go on to compete in the main Great Zuurberg Trek event, making the camp a powerful platform for both personal and sporting development. The camp is growing and seeks to continue fostering the next generation of cyclists with the support of like-minded sponsors.
