Entry Cancellation

Should you wish to cancel your entry, please note the following and contact the Race Office at info@mountainevents.co.za to have the cancellation processed.

• 75% of the entry fee is refundable if the cancellation is done in or before the month of February 2024
• 50% of the entry fee is refundable is the cancellation is done in March 2024
• 0% of the entry fee is refundable if the cancellation is done in April or May
• If at a later stage your partner can no longer participate once substitutions have closed, you will be allowed to do a late substitution at Registration Day.
• Entries are not transferable to the following year.

Optional Extra Cancellation

No refunds are available for any of your optional extras.

Substitutions & Withdrawals

Substitutions can be done online as follows:

• The rider dropping out of the team must do so through their online profile. Click on the “Substitution” button under your team details.
• The remaining rider must then sign into their online profile and pay the applicable substitution fee.
• Once the rider change fee has been paid and received, the remaining rider may then invite a new partner via their profile. The new invited partner will then receive an invitation email where they will be required to sign into their profile and complete their rider details.

Online substitutions close on Thursday, 16 May 2024 at 17:00 (GMT +2). Hereafter, late substitutions must be done on Registration Day.

The following fees apply for substitutions:

• Before 16 May: R400 per substitution
• Registration day: R750 per substitution

Please Note:

• Cyclists who have entered and paid, but cannot participate in the Great Zuurberg Trek Event, for whatever reason, must inform the Race Office.
• No cyclist is allowed to participate under the name of another participant. Such action will lead to immediate disqualification.

Substituted team participants will receive the clothing size of the initial participant, unless this is changed before 31 January 2024
